2004 Ch. Du Tertre, Margaux
Dense cherry red. Smelled of wood, sulfur, mint, earth, some confection. On the palate, lot’s of wood with somewhat thin fruit. Bitter and some green near the finish. Purchased at $24 upon release. B-

2001 Karl Lawrence Napa Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark with purplish rim. Leafy and wood on the nose. Big wine, not overly ripe but there's a lot of dark fruit, with good slight bitterness. Chocolate. I recall liking this more about 3-4 years ago. B
