Veneto

Light yellow in the glass.

Pear, spicy, citrus notes on the nose.

Fairly good stream of bubbles.

Pear, apricot, melon, green apple, crisp, light to medium weight, slightly metallic tang, good acidity, lightly honeyed, floral, refreshing, crisp and delicious.

Slightly mouthwatering on the finish.

A lovely little wine.

Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian) and excellent value.

Champagne may be the greatest sparkling wine on earth, but Prosseco is my personal favorite. Never had a Prosseco that could compete with any more than modest NV Champagne, but still my favorite.
