So patently unconstitutional as to be ridiculous. I can't believe they would consider it in light of the Commerce Clause. Where is our old friend Bob Ross? He could argue this much more cogently than I can.

I also wrote my congressperson as a precaution.
But not too worried- this hasn't even made it out of committee
As James says, would have real constitutional issues

When will they ever let me order wine into TN? Is that a fight that I will have to take to our State government? I want to move to a state where I can order wine online and be part of a tasting club.

I haven't noticed Congress paying much attention to the Constitution lately. Hopefully they will this time.
