AC Graves

A blend of Semillon (60 per cent), Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle (20 per cent each).

Light, bright, yellow in the glass.

Fresh apple, zippy lemon on the nose.

Light to medium weight, crisp, apples, a hint of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, good tangy acidity, some grasinness, peppery, drying, ctirus rind.

Mouthwatering and bitter citrus rind on the finish.

The wine started out rather gentle but, with time and warming of the bottle on the table, the lemon and grapefruit rind began to aggessively dominate.

Worked well with pasta in a cream sauce, but I wouldn't want to try to drink this wine on its own.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).
