This excellent example seemed a little too open and soft for extended keeping yesterday, but a revisit this afternoon renders added hope as a medium-term cellaring proposition. In fact, if anything, today, the wine is more impressive, has more delineation and better structure with far better counterbalancing acidity, greater focus and substantially more minerality in its extended finish. The aromatic and flavour profile harbours gorgeous flinty oat meal, green melon and white flowers with a perplexing sea salt/spray overtone. Sensible alcohol level of 13% A/V. 92 points. Drink now - 2015+.
Cheers,
David
