Cahors, here I come!

by Hoke » Fri Apr 02, 2010 6:25 pm

Just got my tickets to Toulouse, on the way to Cahors for the Malbec Conference 2010.

Looking forward to seeing what's going on in this most neglected vinous region of France.

Think I should bring my teeth whitener? :)

Have fun Hoke! Give us a “full-report” when you get back!

They don’t call it “Black wine” for nothing.

Enjoy. I'm sure you'll find a few things to eat as well.

Man, your conferences are a lot more fun than mine.

Have fun!

Albi

Go see the Albi Cathedral if you can tear yourself away from the wine. It's the largest brick building in the world, looks more like a fortress than a cathedral and is absolutely stunning inside.

Bon voyage!

Damn!!!!! I am officially jealous!

I would go to Albi in a heartbeat by the way. I love Medieval history.

Thanks, Dan!

Cool building. Looks like we have a little tourism/sightseeing jammed into the schedule, so I'll try to get to the place. Certainly looks fascinating.
