For $11.99, the 2004 Chateau Milles Roses Haut Medoc is a fine Tuesday night wine! Popped and poured. Plenty of fruit (although it did close just up a bit by the end of the evening), nice earthy/savory notes. Plum, cassis, blackberry. Not much green, but the earthy savory elements make up for this. Does this rock my world? No...but it was a delicious Tuesday night sipper with friends that I would definitely buy again...even for $25. Let alone $11.99 at K&L Wines.
