WTN: 2009 Edmunds St. John Bone Jolly Gamay Rose

Well I am not sure which is a more lurid pink, the wine or the day-glo screwcap!

Either way, this is slurpable in the mode of the 2006, all berries and chalk with just a bit of finishing skin bitterness that keeps everything lively. Delicious!

It's not fitting for a moderator to have so much fun. Not fitting.

Sorry...sorry. It's a serious wine, with only a touch of whimsy.

Better?

I much prefer a whimsical wine with a touch of seriousness.

Production was hopelessly tiny (135 cases)--long story...
If you want some (and you DO!) my only suggestion would be, don't wait.
If Julia B tastes this wine she's gonna faint!

They're getting over half the production. If you call them, they'll be able to tell you who to order it from. I'm happy to ship, but the shipping ain't cheap!

Can you get some to Oregon by, say, August 5th? (with my name on it, of course.)
