Paso Robles with family

by Mike Veilleux » Thu Mar 25, 2010 2:30 pm

All,
I will be spending 2 nights in the Paso Robles area with my wife and (3) teenage daughters (17, 13 and 13) during a 12-day California family vacation this summer. We are from the east coast, and this will be the first time our children have ever been to California. I will be spending one day in tasting rooms, however I would like my family to join me for at least a portion of the day. Should I just go it alone, or are there some tasting rooms that my family would enjoy as well (scenery, shopping, horses, activities)?

Thanks!

I've got a family connection to Adelaide Cellars in Paso Robles but I've never been myself so I can't say how family friendly they might be. Here's the website: http://www.adelaida.com/. I have had their wine and was quite pleased, esp the Viking Estate Reserve Cab. At least give 'em a call.
Have a great trip.

Eberle is family friendly, and has a neat undergound cave all can go through.
