WTN: Champagne Gosset Grand Millesime 1999

Good complexity and flavor. Sour candy, toasted nuts, white pepper, leather. Quite a bit of fruit. Very fresh and youthful. There's also a bit of caramel when the wine warms up. The oxidative note and yeastiness is very subtle. Medium bodied. Enjoyable now for those who like their Champagne fresh although I think this has great potential for even more complexity and development. Excellent stuff.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.

Nice--I don't see the 99 vintage getting a lot of love. I'm a Gosset fan, their Excellence is our house champers.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
