You might think this 13.6% alcohol pinot gris would be showing a lack of balance almost two years after bottling. You would be wrong, but if you're like me, you would be in possession of a basketful of crushed seashell and wet quartz, followed by a solid bank of acid. I would have thought there was residual sugar, but it's 0.3%. There's even a touch of leesiness. Long finish. I only wish the nose was more expressive. Very Good.
