Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

I'll be AWOL today, as I've some planting to do down on the future homesite: 8 grapevines (mostly table/jelly grapes, but two Niagara vines), 6 blueberries, 8 thornless blackberries, 2 forsythia, and 2 flowering quince. I'll be back in chat Wednesday night.

I knew about the time change...and I am sleepy. I miss that hour.

I missed Anders because I wanted to gloat about meeting Larry McPinot (Escarpment) for a tasting of his 'Insight Series' Pinot Noirs and the sensational new Kupe PN over a bite to eat. Thats' why I was in and out of Chat so quickly. I had set the timer on the stove to remind me couldn't stay there all morning.

Sue, no way you would have been able to gloat me. I was glad to learn that you were going to meet Larry McKenna. Firstly, for your own sake, since you haven't been able to taste much of his wines lately and secondly since I will now be able to hear about your personal view of his wines that I am so fond of. I'll check your web page for a report.
Julia, sorry I was so late that you had to leave. I was at a nice tasting of older wines but left a bit early and would have made it in time to the chat if the time had not been changed. :( At least the tasting was good, with 1975 La Mission Haut-Brion, 1985 La Chapelle and two German Rieslings, a feinste auslese from 1969 and a BA from 1976 as top performers.
Cheers,
Anders
