WTN: Mas Des Bressades Cuvee Tradition 2008

by Bruce Hayes » Thu Mar 11, 2010 7:49 pm

AC Costières de Nîmes

A 55-45 Syrah and Grenache blend.

Dark purple in the glass.

Spicy, raspberry, smoky, red licorice on the nose.

Medium weight, very smoky, cherry and raspberry, soft in the mouth, garrigue, tangy acidity, slightly candided, subtle but rich.

Light chocolate on the finish.

Have enjoyed this wine over a number of vintages and, in Ontario at least, it has always been high on the QPR rating.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).
