Old Wine Labels from Our Scrap Books

by geo t. » Wed Mar 10, 2010 12:23 pm

For anyone who may be interested, I put up 5 pages of old wine labels from our scrapbooks last night. Kind of a walk down memory lane, with selections from the late '60s, '70s and early '80s.

The only one I had back then is the '67 Lafite. I have an old scrap book from those days also.
Chico - Hey! This Bottle is empty!
Groucho - That's because it's dry Champagne.

Then I'd have to figure out how to use my scanner attachment to my printer.

Fun stuff. I actually bought a case of 1975 Pontet Canet in the last year or so at auction and it is drinking shockingly well. It is actually richer than almost any of the other 1975s I have had.
