I visited Sunce last September and they were having a clearance sale, so I picked up a couple. At $8, it was a steal!

Russian River Valley, Sunce, Shanti Vineyard, Sauv. Blanc, 2007 $8.00 13.3% alcohol 20 barrels produced
Truly delicious SB! Nice and tart, with just enough old oak to add some depth to the finish. Marvelous with grilled petrale sole.
My 91 year old mother said, "This is good wine!"
It has the kind of balance that makes me think I don't need to hurry up and drink the other bottle - it could easily have 4 or 5 years ahead of it, changing all the time.
I hope they made it again – it's a new wine for Sunce.

The few Russian River SBs I have had have been more floral than grassy or feline micturition. Sounds like a nice wine, especially for a year they had unseasonal rain.

Yes, more floral than grassy indeed.
Actually, I'm sort of a wimp - I prefer floral and citrus to strong grassy, gooseberry, cat-pee flavors. A little bit is fine, but I've had a few that pucker me up.
