Enjoy Savannah. A charming city, said to have more ghosts in its old homes than any other city in the USA. And, as I recall a charming and exciting restaurant there - Elizabeth on 37th. Check it out and see if its still there. And of course phenomenal crabs (soft-shell in season, hard-shell out of season) and shrimps that come from the not-too-far away offshore islands.

Savannah's BEAUTIFUL. Unfortunately, though, when I visited there, the town was deep in the throes of "Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil" mania, and no one there presumed you came to town for any other reason so whether you wanted to hear it or not, every single tangible thing connected with anyone related to the movie was pointed out to you. "This is the house that Clint Eastwood rented...." etc. Two hundred years of history dissolved into a single pop culture event. Rather depressing.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
