Navarra.
Tempranillo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend.
I bought a bunch of these at deep discount some time ago and thought I'd pull one last night after a tough week at work. Seductively perfumed nose of cherry, black currant and spice. Velvety in the mouth with cherry, black currant, blackberry, spice and hints of vanilla and cherry pith. A really nice wine that's very food friendly. Drank it with a simple meal of rigatoni with sausage and red sauce with grated Asiago cheese. Couldn't keep my nose out of the glass and finished the entire bottle. (rare for me) 13.5% Alc/vol. $22
