WTN: Casa De Santa Vitoria Versatil Branco 2008

by Bruce Hayes » Thu Feb 11, 2010 10:04 am

Vinho Regional Alentejano
Herdade da Malhada

A blend of Arinto, Antao Vaz and Roupeiro.

Bright yellow in the glass.

Earthy nose.

Medium weight, peppery, spritzy, tangy acidity, floral, lemon, apricots, a hint of pear, spicy, a little candied, clean and refreshing.

Light citrus rind on the mouthwatering finish.

A unique wine at a good price.

Purchased at $11.95 (Canadian).

Sounds very nice Bruce. I am just up and running after pouring Portuguese wines at last nights fund raiser for the ESO. Stay tuned!
