1998 Haut Batailley, Graves: black cherry and plum fruit with a lot of savory secondary stuff and minerality going on, as expected. Shows well for a modest '98 left banker but I don't think it has any upside from here, and I'll plan to drink my remaining two bottles sooner than later.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

They were fair; we didn't decant and they softened considerably over the two hours we spent dawdling over it.
