WTN: Trio Reserva Chardonnay/Pinot Grigio/Pinot Blanc 2008

by Bruce Hayes » Sat Feb 06, 2010 12:35 pm

Conca y Toro
Casablanca Valley

Light yellow in the glass.

Spicy, gentle oak, honey on the nose.

Medium weight, honeyed, spicy, lemon, orange, apple, lime, light toast, good zippy-tangy acidity, very peppery, citrus rind, round and full in the mouth, well balanced, clean and refreshing.

Drying, bitter citrus rind on the finish.

A very rich wine, good fruit and lots of tanginess.

Purchased at $12.95 (Canadian).
