Rheinhessen

Fairly dark yellow in the glass.

Petrol-chemical on the nose.

Medium weight, apples, lime, heavily over-ripe peaches, good acidity, mouthwatering, honeyed.

Incredibly mouthwatering on the finish, with apples and some honey.

An okay wine, but seems rather simple. A rare "miss" from, IMHO, one of the most dependable producers.

Purchased at $15.95 (Canadian).

Dark yellow? Chemical? Sounds cooked.
