2007 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett halbtrocken
Need a Riesling to go with dinner? This wine is the perennial answer to the German wine/non-Asian food pairing question. Just barely off-dry, packed with citrus & peach infused fruit, and built on a base of minerals that would make Yosemite blush, this is a Riesling for drinking any and all the time. Past vintages have developed significant additional complexity in the cellar, and the little bit of RS keeps it from being shrill in even more structured vintages (e.g. 2004), so dive in and discover what great Riesling can do for you.

Yummy. If I didn't have the taste of a Van Volxem Riesling still lingering, I'd be rather jealous. :)
