Went looking for a bottle to go with the Friday steak and this was standing in the 'to be tasted' area, so I pulled th cork and had at it.

This is now ready for drinking and is showing really well. Still dark with soft tannin, the cabernet nose is berries, no green at all, supple in the mouth and with very good length.

Te people that buy this (when they can find it) and immediately pop a cork are doing themselves a disservice.

These wines need time. Still among my favourite BC reds and one that is definitely one of the few worth the tariff, even though they bumped it up to $53 for this vintage.

This was the first bottle of this I had tasted out of my cellar.
