No help except to eliminate some large volume sellers: scratch K & L, Wine Exchange, JJ Buckley and Wine Library. Maybe Zachy's or Sherry Lehmann (who I believe sponsored the event Covert went to).
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Curiously, Sherry-Lehmann lists hardly any 2007s. Winesearcher shows Zachys (Scarsdale, NY), Aabalat Fine & Rare Wines (Petaluma, CA), and AOC Fine Wines (Greenwich, CT) offering it from $30 to $40.

Those are Haut Batailley (Pessac). I believe he's looking for Ch. Batailley (Pauillac).
Most retailers passed on futures, as wines are released I'd expect some others to show up as importers or negociants face reality on prices

Not a lot of 2007s have showed up around here yet. Are they in the NYC shops already? It seems 6 months too early.

There's a scattered few, but I'd typically expect most to arrive either late spring or fall. That's what I meant- most that are around are on pre-arrival, and many merchants didn't buy. When (and I think when, not if) pressure builds and prices drop, then some stores that passed will step in,.

Sorry about in my haste misreading that you were looking for Haut-Batailley rather than Batailley; and, worse, not even reading further enough to learn that you had already searched Winesearcher. Same as you, I couldn't find Batailley. From my notes, Batailley was very good with an exceptional finish. It's on my buy list, too.
