Found this at CellarRat in KC last week, so cracked:
1. Breggo Syrah AndersonVlly (13.7%; www.Breggo.com) Boonville 2007: Dark color; some peppery/cold-climate strong spicy/blueberry/blackberry/Syrah bit licorice/pungent/menthol slight reduced/milk-of-magnesia slight floral/violets attractive nose; rather tart bit lean/hard/tannic strong blueberry/Syrah/blackberry light pungent/licorice/peppery light toasty/charred/oak fairly rich/structured flavor; med.long somewhat hard/tannic/tight strong blueberry/Syrah light charred/oak finish; seems a bit hard & extracted and needs 2-5 yrs; some low-key/cold-climate Syrah character; seems pricey at $47.00

And a wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I try as many cold-climate Syrahs as I can lay my hands on. I'd had the Breggo Pinots in the past and liked them quite a bit, but wasn't aware that they made a Syrah. From best I can tell from their WebSite, the grapes come the FerringtonVnyd, down near Boonville.
I thought this a pretty decent Syrah, but not intensely peppery as some AndersonVlly Syrah I've had. Fairly hard/taannic & structured and needs some age to smooth out, but I don't see this evolving into a profound Syrah.
