A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Trefethen: Saw this on the shelf last night and realized I hadn't tried a Trefethen Riesling since...probably the early '70's...so sprung for it. A very attractive nose but pretty underwhelming on the palate...for now. But it has an acidity and a leaness that makes me believe that its best days are down the road. I'd give this wine at least 5 yrs and I have little doubt that it'll go out 15 yrs or more. I expect this will turn into something really terrific.
