WTN: 2001 Edmunds St. John Los Robles Viejos

I find this wine so compelling that I'm temporarily suspending my hiatus from posting wine notes.

Another absolutely joyous bottle of LRV. Complex/Balanced and the aromatics are simply outstanding. Still going strong after 9 years and I'll not be in any hurry to drink my few remaining bottles. Tracking the evolution of this wine over the last 4 or 5 years has been a fascinating journey.
What did I pay for this again? Incredible value. I bought a case, but should have bought 2 or 3.

I had another bottle of this late last year, and yes, it is in a great place right now. I don't have as much left as you do, Winger, so I'll just have to rely on the kindness of strangers.
