Colchagua Valley
Purple in the glass.
Mint on the nose.
Medium weight, smooth in the mouth, spicy, rich black cherry-berry fruit, red currants, viscous, coffee, quite rich and balanced.
With time, the wine took on a sharp edge and the fruit become somewhat stewed-cooked.
A drying finish.
A pretty good initial wine, but didn't stand up well to air exposure and time.
Purchased at $11.95 (Canadian).
