Axumit

I've been looking for a bottle of Axumit wine (it's Ethiopian) for my girlfriend for Valentine's day and have so far come up empty handed. Any tips/knowledge about where I could get some would be a big help. Thanks!

You could try wine-searcher.com which has a large number of retailers on it.
Otherwise, I'd maybe try Ethiopian restaurants & see if they have any, or have contacts to get hold of it (perhaps via a wholesale outlet).

I had no idea such a thing existed. Did a quick internet search and as Ian suggested a lot of restaurants seem to show it on their wine list. Not sure if you are near a big city but that would seem to be your best bet. I had no luck locating it for sale at a wine store.

Like Brian, I couldn't find any of this using winesearcher or winezap, which makes it likely this is being brought in via an African goods importer vs. the normal liquor distribution channel. Nathan, were I you, I'd contact an Ethiopian restaurant in your state and ask who their distributer/wholesaler is, and start from there.

Here's an Ethiopian restaurant in Wisconsin, for instance, who has this on their wine list:
