We had this tonight with venison meat loaf and I was impressed. Decanted for an hour before, it still tasted young but was coming around. Very dense dark/black color, the nose and palate were full of sweet and sour cherries with a slight dusty quality. This should be much better given 5-8 years. Marked down from $30 to $20, I will be looking to buy a case at this price.
