A blend of Touriga Franca (50 per cent), Touriga Roriz (30) and Touriga Nacional.
Dark cherry red in the glass.
A rich nose, creamy, chocolate, strawberry jam.
Medium weight, spicy, good zingy and refreshing acidity, raspberry, cherry, plummy, red currants, chocolate, quite rich, sweet, fresh, tobacco, drying tannins toward the end.
Lightly tangy, mouthwatering, gently choclately on the finish.
A very well baanced wine with enough refreshing acidity to offset, as it were, the rich fruit.
