Sunday Chat

by James Roscoe » Sun Jan 17, 2010 11:14 am

It's the American football divisional playoffs! Do the devotees of the sport have time to make it to chat? Will Mike H. do both? I hope to make an appearance if I don't get sucked into NFL playoffs. There is lots to talk about. Here are the times when the fun gets started: at 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Saving Time; 3 p.m. Central Time; 2 p.m. Mountain Time; 1 p.m. Pacific Time; 8 p.m. GMT; 9 p.m. Standard Time in the UK; 10 p.m. Standard Time in Italy, France, Germany, and Sweden; 11 p.m. standard in Finland and Israel; 8 a.m. Daylight Time Monday in Sydney and environs; and 10 a.m. Daylight Time in New Zealand. My picks for the day, strictly for recreational purposes, Minnesota and New York. I was 2-0 yesterday. Of course last week I was 1-3.

In any event the fun starts HERE!!!!!!!!!! :D

Fairly occupied these last days (alas, neither with wine nor with food) but hoping to make it for a while.

Sorry I didn't make it - should definitely be there Wednesday.

We were down on the future homesite burning a helluva good brush pile, and digging up rocks. Out here where there's usually a fire ban on because of the dryness and wind, we had to take advantage of the damp conditions to burn. At least we didn't get stuck like yesterday!

You are going to lose your regular chat seat Mr. 1K. You might get stuck sitting at the end of the virtual wine bar if this keeps up!

Unfortunately for Sunday chat, I will likely be spending most weekends for the next few months down on the property, as there's lots to be done.

Howie, you have spread so much "goodwill" around, you have a lifetime seat. The rest of us need to keep our props up.

Robert, your excuse goes to the chat judge for a ruling.
