From half bottle this is still much too young (of course), but it's starting to throw a little sediment, and the fruit is ahead of the tannins, so the balance is right. I figure 3 more years or so out of halves will see this in a much friendlier place.

Good to hear/know. I have some 2004 Ducrus in halves that will probably behave similarly.

Thanks for the report--I'm sure I'll be sorry that I didn't buy these in '04. Didn't mean to skip them, but didn't get around to shopping for them either.
