Roux Pere & Fils
Fairly dark yellow in the glass.
Light honey, spicy, lemon on the finish.
Lemon, apple, very tangy acidity, peppery, lightly honeyed, a hint of oak.
Citrus rind, peppery, mouthwatering finish.
Surprisingly tangy and peppery for a white Burgundy, bordering on the Sauvignon Blanc-like. Best served a bit warmer than other white wines.
An atypical wine, but I liked it.
Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian).
