Fairly dark yellow in the glass.

Lots of fine bubbles and good mousse.

Biscuit and lemon on the nose.

Medium weight, good acidity, lemon, tangy, toast, light honey, nutty (almonds), mushroom, yeasty, showing some maturity, clean and refreshing, complex and rich.

Mouthwatering, light lemon and toast on the finish.

The wine was very good straight out of the wine fridge, but gained complexity and depth as it warmed on the table. Delicious and tasty and matched very well with a rich seafood pasta.

Purchased at $50.95 (Canadian).
