Vary translucent, pale yellow colour. Aromas of green apple pie, orange skin, lime, banana sweet, jaca fruit and a very light yeast. In the mouth is wonderful balance, very concentrate and structured. Citric flavors vivid and and a correct acidity for a no sweet taste. Just lovely to me, vary strange with no rules... vivid!!! and putting my memory in work! My Christmas wine. :D

Regards for all Winelovers!!!

Puzelat strikes again (never a dull moment with him). Happy new year, Marcelo!

To you too, Bob. Quite beautiful here, Madeira is a huge extinct volcano with wonderful views and very nice people. Madeira grapes are harvested on terraces so steep you wouldn't believe. Picked up a 1969 D'Oliveira Sercial to take home because it's Marcia's birth year.

This can be a nice wine (with such a weird melange of flavors!) although personally I worry about holding onto them too long. Sounds like this one survived well, which is good for you.
