Interesting changes since our last bottle about a year ago. Judging by the two, it's on the downhill side, having gained weight but not in a good way. It's just heavier; while being lesser in every other way. It's lost the spicy complexity it had, and the brightness. Don't get me wrong, it's still enjoyable, but if you knew the other and that edgy/spicy/herbal/savory thing is what you prize about Cantemerle, it's not as good as it was. IMHO--drink up!
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

My 99 Gruaud Larose seems to have evolved in the same way.
