Niagara Peninsula
Dark cherry red in the glass.
Smoky, woody, plums, herbal, earthy notes on the nose.
Medium weight, quite smooth and weighty in the mouth, forest floor, fleshy black cherry, raspberry, bitter dark chocolate, mushroom, high acidity, quite rich and delicous.
With time, the wine becomes a bit tangier, but remains delicous.
Smoky, mouthwatering, earthy and tarry on the long finish.
The best Ontario Cab Franc I have every had and one of the better wine period I have enjoyed recently.
Purchased at $18.95 (Canadian).
