WTN: Vineland Chardonnay 2008

by Bruce Hayes » Fri Dec 25, 2009 8:22 pm

Vineland Estates
Niagara Peninsula

Light yellow in the glass.

Spicy, peaches on the nose.

Crisp, tangy acidity, lemon, lime, a hint of peach, medium weight, peppery, bitter citrus rind, clean and refreshing.

Mouthwatering and lemon-lime on the finish.

A very good wine at a pretty good price.

Purchased at $12.85 (Canadian).

Time and time again the Vineland Chardonnay is a beautiful bottle of wine. The 2006 and 2007 were both gold medal winners. The 2007 was a double gold medal winner. The 2008 is classic non-oaked Chardonnay. Appreciate the review Bruce.
