Ap #3 for those playing bingo.

Golden, precise, still fruity and nearly dry - this is balanced and expressive of Mosel Riesling. The somewhat obstreperous 1990 acids are there (so a touch more RS could make this great), and it's not going to get any better than it is right now. That said it is very, very good, elegant, minerally and at peak right now.

Between that and the '94 Merkelbach, how's the enamel on your teeth feeling? :wink:

Sounds really lovely though - it's notes like these that make me feel occasionally a bit guilty about opening so many of my Spatlese/Auslese so young. :mrgreen:
