Question? I know there are a lot of Willi Schaefer fans here....does anyone know where the grapes are sourced for the Estate Riesling Qba?

thanks

well, since it's estate not sourced in usual sense of term. I think all of his holdings are in Wehlen and Graach (or is it Graacher?). I'd always assumed the estate was just less favored plots or newer vines in Domprobst, Himmelreick, or W Sonn. but have no knowledge. Maybe Peter R or David B?

Dale has it right. It's generally more Himmelreich than anything else, but the exact percentages vary year to year.

same goes for the 08, which I'm going to post a note on tonight (or tomorrow if shoveling gets in the way)
