Trip to Chile

by Frederic von Hess » Thu Dec 17, 2009 6:42 pm

I'm traveling to Chile in february 2010.

First I was going there to see the wine country and fly fishing. But now a friend suggest me this company were you can make your own custom wine, and now I'm also doing that. They have great facilities, top of the line grapes and winemakers, so I guess it will be almost like a dream come true and also for a great price!

I'll stay in Santiago for a week or so, any ideas on good restaurants to visit?

I want to do the same thing some day. We have some members from South America. I have alerted one to your question.

Hi, Frederic, I've never been myself but have accumulated some research material which I'll PM you in a few days when I return home from a trip. In the meantime, there's a blog called Vinography (http://vinography.com/) where the writer just went to Chile and wrote several up-to-date reports which should be helpful.
"I went on a rigorous diet that eliminated alcohol, fat and sugar. In two weeks, I lost 14 days." Tim Maia, Brazilian singer-songwriter.
