Wednesday Holiday Chat

by James Roscoe » Wed Dec 16, 2009 6:22 pm

The Holidays are here. It is time to discuss the festive season. Pull out your favorite festive beverage and join us in the chatroom. We start the party at 9:30 PM EST for those of us on the east coast, 8:30 PM CST and 7:30 PM RMST for those of you in Chicago or in fly over country. I guess that means 6:30 PM on the left coast. If my calculations are correct everyone in NZ needs to join us at 3:30 PM Thursday and at 1:30 PM on Thursday afternoon for those in Sydney and eastern Oz. It will be an ungodly 4:30 AM? in Israel, and an even less reasonable time in the rest of Europe until the next time change. I should add that Bob Henrick usually shows up around 9:00 if anyone wants to come early if you want to speak with him. I have a school Christmas program so I will be showing up Mike H late. Speaking of Mike H. how are the Steelers doing?

In any event, the fun starts HERE!
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

I will check in around 9Pm James, and will stay past the official hour, but not long past. We should campaign to move the start up a half hour.

I must tender my regrets for this evening's chat. I'll be with Gail at her company's Christmas party. :D Hope they have lots of Pinot Noir or a good single malt. Or both.

I too must post my (belated) regrets. I was too busy writing Xmas cards and getting some last-minute gifts to stop in.
