WTN: 2005 Château Haut-Bergey

by David M. Bueker » Fri Dec 11, 2009 8:38 pm

Still open enough to be enjoyable though it is structured and stern. Deep, but not impenetrable color, dark fruit and surprisingly subtle oak with tannins that clamp down on the finish. Probably should keep my hands off the rest for at least 7-10 years.

From the description I guess that this one was red. Haut-Bergey also does a well regarded white.
