WO Paarl

Dark red in the glass.

Spicy, red currants, smoky on the nose.

Medium weight, tangy, smoky, juicy and fleshy raspberry and black cherry, floral, tarry, spicy, polished, red licorice, chocolate, rich and intense.

At first, the wine was quite tangy, with fairly strong brett (band aid/antiseptic), but it filled out quite quickly.

Mouthwatering, tangy, floral, red berries on the finish.

Quite impressive and delcious.

Purchased at $17.95 (Canadian).
