Hi Jenise. I wouldn't say this was over-oaked but it is heavier than most gamay I'm used to drinking. As Steve points out, it is "artfully done" but not everyone might like this particular piece of art. I do like it and it is certainly worth trying. From what I understand, Evening Land has the lease on the entire Seven Springs /Anden vineyards.
