1995 Etude Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley California. Dark red color, deep hue, pretty aroma of cedar and cherry, some smokey notes, good fruit tastes with cedar, smoke and tobacco notes, with an unusual fruit flavor that neither Janet nor I could identify (nor like for that matter), full mouth feel, well evolved tannins, long single note finish dominated by that mysterious fruit note. Perhaps in a dumb stage at the moment, but not to my taste. 2*.

What a smoking bottle.....like nectar.

Great producer, off or sleeping bottle. Etude has been rewarding in the past.
