WTN: Le Bine Soave Classico 2008

by Bruce Hayes » Sun Nov 29, 2009 11:20 am

DOC Monte Foscarino
Giuseppe Campagnola

Very light yellow in the glass.

Spicy, melon on the nose.

Medium weight, tangy, juicy apple, pear, lemon, a light bitter bite, very refreshing and clean, good acidity, spicy, round in the mouth, quite rich, a hint of honey.

Tangy acidity, peppery, lemon on the mouthwatering finish.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian) and a good value.

Haven't ever had this one, Bruce. Love a good classic Soave---the original hill and mountain grown version, not the bland swill.

Thanks for the heads up.
