Tried this last night w/ my tofu frog legs:
1. PointConcepcion Encantado Syrah CentralCoast (14.8%) 2003: Very dark color w/ no bricking; light toasty/oak/pungent licorice/blackberry/boysenberry/Syrah slight roasted/peppery light vanilla/perfumed talk lovely perfumed nose; soft biit pungent/licorice/toasty/oak strong blackberry/boysenberry/ripe/Syrah slight tannic flavor; long pungent/licorice/vanilla/oak strong boysenberry/blackberry/Syrah finish w/ slight tannic bite in aftertaste; a lovely great-drinking Syrah that may be starting to dry out a bit.

1. Petey done good on this wine. A PeterCargasacchi wine. Don't recall the price bu think around $24 as I recall. The finish was showing a bit of a tannic bite and so it may be starting to dry out a bit. But really good-drinking right now. I thought the wine was a pleasant Syrah when I had it on release, but was pleasantly surprised at how well it had evolved.
