McLaren Vale
Coriole Vineyards

Purple in the glass.

Raspberry, peppery, spicy on the nose.

Weighty in the mouth, good cherry fruit, raspberry, red currants, red licorice, rich, good acidity, cinnamon, refreshing, a bit of a tangy bite and with some alcohol showing through.

Mouthwatering finish.

A rather tasty wine, although I did find the alcohol which, in this case, is 14.5 per cent, a little distracting.

Purchased at $17.95 (Canadian).
